Day 127: Kwame Nkrumah Returns

I  went to the National Theatre for the first  time in my life to watch The 2nd Coming of Kwame Nkrumah. It’s a play written by a guy call Latif Abubakar. Ekow Smith Asante, a very well known Ghanaian actor who often does film and stage, played Kwame Nkrumah.

The pics and video was taken on a Tecno P5, hence the low quality. It’s hard to explain the premise of the play but I guess it’s just the tale of Ghana’s independence but with Kwame Nkrumah and Ghana’s 5 most recent presidents constituting the big six.

It ended with a dance off.
